wished existed.

The idea started when a family member discovered ₹34,000 sitting in an old IEPF dividend account — money from shares their father had bought in the 1990s. The discovery was accidental, through a CA friend who happened to mention it.

We started asking around. Almost everyone over 30 with any investment history had some form of forgotten money — an old PF from a job they left, a lapsed LIC policy, a dormant savings account. The total nationally is over ₹1.84 lakh crore.

The government portals to check this exist. But they're fragmented across six different websites, each with its own login, form, and interface. Nobody checks all of them. Kosh does it in one click.

We then realised the same problem existed for ITR filing (most people overpay by ₹5,000–₹15,000 by not knowing about deductions), for insurance (8 in 10 Indians are critically underinsured, but also over-insured in the same category), and for salary benchmarking (60% of salaried Indians are in the wrong tax regime).
