Acceptance of terms
By using Kosh, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all users of Kosh, including registered users and visitors.
Description of service
Kosh provides a financial aggregation and advisory tool that helps users: (1) locate unclaimed money in government databases, (2) prepare and file income tax returns, (3) track personal net worth, (4) analyse insurance coverage, and (5) benchmark salary data.
Kosh is NOT a registered investment advisor, SEBI-registered entity, NBFC, bank, or insurance broker. All information provided is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. Users should consult qualified professionals for personalised advice.
User accounts
You must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Kosh.
You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
Use of PAN and personal financial data
When you provide your PAN number, you authorise Kosh to query official government portals (IEPF, EPFO, UDGAM, LIC, MF Central) on your behalf to locate unclaimed financial assets.
Your PAN is encrypted before storage and is never transmitted in plaintext. Kosh queries government portals over HTTPS.
Kosh does not access your bank accounts, demat accounts, or any financial institution systems without explicit consent for each connection.
Success fee for money recovery
For the Money Finder feature, Kosh may charge a success fee (typically 5–10% of the recovered amount) only after money is successfully returned to you. There is no upfront charge.
The exact fee percentage will be disclosed and agreed upon before any claim is initiated.
Kosh facilitates the claim process but does not guarantee recovery. Government processing timelines are outside our control.
ITR filing
Kosh helps you prepare your ITR by parsing documents and computing tax liability. The accuracy of the final filing depends on the accuracy of information you provide.
Kosh is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by users.
CA-assisted filing plans involve third-party Chartered Accountants who are independent professionals. Kosh acts as a platform connecting users to these professionals.
Affiliate relationships
Kosh may receive referral fees when you purchase financial products (insurance, mutual funds, etc.) through links provided in our app. These fees are paid by product providers, not by you.
Affiliate relationships do not influence our recommendations — we recommend products based on what is most suitable for your situation.
Prohibited uses
You may not: use Kosh to query government portals on behalf of others without their consent; attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent our security measures; use Kosh for any unlawful purpose; or submit false or misleading information.
Limitation of liability
Kosh is provided 'as is'. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, especially for government portal queries which depend on third-party systems.
Kosh's liability is limited to the amount you have paid to Kosh in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified via email. Continued use of Kosh after changes constitutes acceptance.
