Is ITR filing really free?
Yes — for ITR-1 (salaried users with salary + one house property + interest income). This covers about 75% of all filers. Complex cases with capital gains, business income, or multiple employers require the CA-assisted plan.
When exactly does the 7.5% recovery fee apply?
Only after money is successfully transferred back to your bank account. If we don't recover anything, you pay nothing. The fee is deducted from the recovered amount, not charged separately.
How is Kosh free if it costs money to build?
We earn referral commissions from financial product providers (insurance, mutual funds, credit cards) when you choose to buy through us. These fees are paid by the product company, not by you. We disclose all affiliate relationships.
Will Kosh ever charge for the money scanner?
No. The scan itself will always be free. Assistance with the actual claim process (paperwork, legal coordination, follow-ups) is where the success fee applies.
